Rhonda, IKEA is a very interesting store. It is Swedish in origin. They have a lot of rather modern design furnishings, some with really great design features. (One I read about was a mug that had a little notch in the outer rim on the bottom so that water doesn't pool there in the dishwasher.) The part I enjoy most is seeing all the things they have for organizing. They have three different mock apartments (at least in the store I have visited) that you can walk through. They are of varying sizes starting at about 250 square feet. They show you how you can organize your space even when it is small. They have a restaurant which features a lot of kid-friendly foods and some Swedish foods. It's just a fun place to visit. I have heard that there is one in the Charlotte area and one in Atlanta. Day trip? :>) They also have a catalog. You will have to check it out.

I'd like to know more about IKEA. I've heard of it, but I'd like to know more about it. Both you and Rob mentioned it on your blogs, but neither offered details! The building says it sells home furnishings, but you bought a toy. It also sounds like you ate dinner there. Hmmmm. I definitely need to know more. :)

Glad you had a good time!
The four generation picture makes me laugh...what WAS your husband saying? :)
