Last weekend I made the soup in the picture above from something that I normally throw away. Would you like to guess what the "green" element is in the soup? I will post the answer later in the week.

Broccoli? Although I can’t imagine why you would throw away broccoli. At any rate, it looks delicious!

My first guess was leftover broccoli, but maybe since you said normally throw away…maybe it’s the outer leaves of a head of lettuce??? Was the soup good?

Deb and Elizabeth, it was not broccoli or lettuce. Both were good guesses though.
The soup was very tasty and I will make it again if the same situation occurs.
